Retrospekt’s Retro Games Quiz Night 2020

2020, eh? It’s definitely been…a year! Thankfully, we’re back on the event train with the inaugural…

Retrospekt Retro Video Game Quiz Night on the 2nd of December!

Below is the full set of details and specifics – we hope you’re keen to come along, assemble a table of up to 6 retro video game know-it-alls, and join in on what we hope is the first of many upcoming events. Now you are playing with trivial power!

Date: Wednesday 2nd December.
Time: 7:30pm – 10:30pm.
Location: The Jade, 160 Flinders Street, Adelaide7:30pm – 10:30pm.
Tables: Maximum of 6 people per table. Booking a table is essential.

How to book:
- Organise your group amongst friends and family.
- Email matt@retrospekt.com.au with your details.
- We’ll ensure that people’s bookings are locked in, but be aware that due to licensing and COVID restrictions, we have a strictly limited capacity on the night.
Cost: $15 per person.
How to pay:
- Once you have confirmed your booking, we’ll email you payment details.
- Alternatively, you and your team can pay at the door with cash or card, but make sure you’ve booked and your table has been secured.

Anything else?
- Can we bring our own food and snacks?
  - Yes but drinks must be purchased from the bar.
- What time does the quiz actually start?
  - Be there by 7:30pm (or earlier). Technically the quiz will start at 7:45pm – but don’t push it!
- Is this an all ages event?
  - It is primarily aimed at those 18+ as there will be the consumption of alcohol. Underage patrons are allowed to be part of the event only if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Is there parking near the venue?
  - Yes! With the show being held on a Wednesday, there will be free parking right in front of the venue.
- When will the event end, I have work tomorrow!
  - The event will finish approximately 10:30pm (by 10:45pm at the latest).

Note Re: COVID compliance:
- Due to COVID-19 restrictions and with your safety paramount, our quiz night will have a maximum guest limit.
- All guests will be required to sign in upon entry with details for contact tracing requirements.
- On the night of the event if you are feeling unwell, have been in a location with confirmed COVID-19 cases, or have had contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. We’ll have more events in the future for you to attend!
