I must admit that when I first came to review this game, I failed to see why I had such fonds memories of it in the first place. That was until I hit stage 2 and enter Skull Land! From here the game picks up its pace a bit.
I find it quite fitting to review a Chess game on Retrospekt. Why? Well Chess is one of the oldest turn-based strategy titles ever made, like 15th century, and that is pretty retro.
Alex Kidd In Miracle World was one of our first game purchases … with Version 1 this was not built-in. To this day it remains one of my old time favourites. The elements that attracted me as a child have stood the test of time.
