It was only the other day we reviewed the Commodore 64 app for the iPhone, We now find that the next update is being worked on as we speak (bringing it to version 1.2) which will allow the in-app store, which will offer games at prices ranging from $0 up to AU$2.50.

The following games are going to be included initially:
Also to get the ball rolling, they are including Bruce Lee for FREE.. Here’s a video of what the game is like:
Folks, the 1.2 update will be coming around mid-December, so this will make a perfect Xmas gift to the iPhone/iPod Touch owning, retro-gaming type!

Ah yes, the Commodore 64. Ask any gamer from the good old days what home computer was talked about the most in the 80’s and even 90’s, and most would say “Commodore 64”. Having only played the C64 (as it will be called for the rest of the review) in primary school, It sadly wasn’t enough to experience the whole feel that the C64 was trying to push, I did get to play Spy VS Spy 2 and Cave of Word Wizard, which reminded me a lot of The Boy and his Blob.

Once it comes to the Australian store, I’ll be grabbing it to do a write-up about it as soon as I can, as this application has been rejected from the App Store a few times due to breaches of terms on the SDK. Here’s hoping it stays for good this time!
