I noticed that a lot of you on Facebook really digged the review of Interstate ‘76 (somebody even asked us on Twitter for a poem from Stampede) :P Brilliant! Well I’m glad I’ve made an impact somehow and even got folk to go to the site where I got the game from and buy it for themselves.
Okay, so for today.. lets see OOH Okay let me start with this awesome artwork of Space Invaders aliens in the shape of a skull, from Deviant Art user Jaxnel

Very cool. Kind of like what the weather is slowly getting to, I’m glad winter is around the corner very soon. The many nights of snuggling up and playing those long RPG’s till late. But should you decide to go out into the cold, perhaps this scarf would be in order?

Otherwise if you’re out and about and you’re lucky enough to have an iPhone (even more so if it’s jailbroken?) Then you might be interested in this peripheral for it:

Now I notice a lot of people I know, don’t wear watches anymore, including myself, which is a shame, because I’d probably maybe consider thinking about wearing this one:

Last but not least, we take a moment to remember one of the most iconic individuals to embrace the world and history of video games. I speak of none other than Gunpei Yokoi.
This legend brought the Game & Watch games to this world, as well as the Game Boy. A highly influencing individual no doubt.
Thanks for all the support folks, it’s what keeps us going still :) Have a great evening and we’ll see you all tomorrow!

Hope everybody’s been having a good weekend so far! Etsy.com once again has another great item for sale, this time being a Pac-Man Scarf:

I was told that I should get this as a tattoo, I’m not too sure personally, like for myself. But yeah that is one badass Tetris tattoo!

What is also pretty badass is the latest review submitted by our resident writer Paul, this time covering Super Mario Land 2 for the Game Boy.

Have a great evening, we’ll see you all tomorrow!

Hope you folks managed to absorb the review for Pang on the Amstrad GX4000 which Paul submitted yesterday.
What I have noticed today around the web is that I’ve come across a lot of gift ideas, many crafty kind of stuff like this one.

It’s a wallet with containment space for keys, usb sticks, and plays video game sounds of your choice. Great guide on how to make one, same goes with this clever design:

Which is well, a coin purse or wallet thing from a NES controller. Be sure to check Instructables.com for more DIY guides for many many useful items. Whilst on the subject of crafts, here’s some official bling:

The J piece from Tetris. Be sure to send US$450 to my account before I go and get one ;) What I don’t want however, unless I get married (BHAHAHAHAHHA) is this Super Mario wedding cake, granted it is pretty bloody epic looking:

Although I guess one aspect to look into before and after marriage of course, is safe sex. That’s okay, just laugh it out, I said SEX!
(WARNING: not only is the following content possibly NSFW, but also having to stress out that YES it is a legitimate video from Nintendo and Nintendo Power. You’ve’ been warned)
Okay I do apologise if anyone was offended by this video, be it for the racial stereotypes, or the imagery. To make it up to you, how about I show you artwork a friend of mine made recently? good! here it is:

Artwork by Dale Keogh
Finally to end today’s post with some amazing news. Not only is Rise of the Triad finally out for the iPhone, more screenshots of the iPhone version of Final Fantasy I & II are available. Enjoy this trailer for the game coming very soon!!!!

Who here has played Tetris on at least one platform? Of course everyone has pretty much! A game at 25 years of age, still gaining popularity with the new generation consoles/platforms, and according to the companies who have released this untimely classic onto mobile phones, 100,000,000 have been sold since. Making it the best selling mobile game ever.

Gee I could do with one of them myself :)

Okay, I’m a BIG fan of Tetris, but THIS.. This however has made made start to dislike the game :| In a good way!! This is a very interesting concept no doubt.

The screenshot is meant to be sideways as the game itself is moved sideways when rotating at the specific angles. Hard to explain, just go play the bloomin’ game!

Do you like the first Mario Bros. on the NES? Well how about Tetris? Well in this case.. here’s both! Mario mashed up with Tetris in this flash game. Very innovative and professionally done.
