Alrighty.. We’ve been busy (this week especially). I hope you folks enjoyed reading our report on the ‘Bent But Not Broken’ Workshop on Chiptunes and Circuit Bending, which was in junction with the Format music festival in Adelaide:

as well as the report on the Sharp SF-1 Super Famicom/TV hybrid!

So Gamesradar has a great article with well-done pictures of what would happen if video games invaded famous paintings…

Very well done :) Collegehumor has a great video about the Lament of infamous video game bosses.. I must say this is the funniest thing i’ve seen this week! Hope you enjoy it as well:
I just remembered that I’m getting a car very soon, which makes me wish that more car parks had signs like this:

Finally seeing quite a dark and morbid side of Pac-Man I think, from Flickr user giantrobotmag.. Cheers for the find Mark :P

Have a great weekend folks!

Cosplay - the much loved and probably just as much laughed at phenomenon of dressing up as ones favourite character from a video game, anime series or film. Once a Japanese only novelty, the craze has rapidly spread throughout Europe, the West and abroad since the late nineties. Almost any major city will nowadays host some kind of convention where you can go to see the efforts of costume-loving con goers… Some do it right.

Anything and everything you could think of when it comes to the geeky culture of Japan. Video game trinkets, soundtracks, keyrings, odds and ends, model kits, t-shirts, and bags too! They sell some video games, but mainly for current generation consoles pretty much. Nevertheless, the apparel and other cool stuff they have there of video game culture will whet the appetite nicely!

So have a look at http://desktopgaming.com/ and poke around to see what they have in store. You might be surprised in what you’ll find!
Found any other sites around the web with high quality desktop wallpaper of games from the forums.
